I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi wurrung people and other peoples of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of this land on which I live, work, and play. I recognise their suffering and struggle and I recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded and treaties have never been signed. I recognises and respect the cultural heritage, beliefs, and relationship of First Nations people to their ancestral lands, waters, sky and spirits. I pay my respect to Elders past, and present and hope the path to reconciliation is paved with deep listening, genuine respect, humility, and love.
